Letter E

E is for Event.  This is at the neighborhood pool this afternoon, Swim Meet.  They take this very seriously.
E is for Escargot - Mmmmm!

E is for Escargot for me as well... I couldn't resist!

Letter D

It's Fletcher the Wonder Dog.

Still trying to get the iphone to do what I want.  Here is my little man - D is for Dork.

D is for DISASTER!! I've broken my measuring spoons. But is can also be for Delightful as I have another set! The only one that didn't break was the 1/2 tsp and that's the one missing from my spare set!

Letter C

C is for Cake, not just any cake, but 12 layer chocolate, homemade, chocolate melted in a pan - real cake.  Have not eaten it yet, still looking at it.

Uh, that cake looks a lot better than cantaloupes. I don't even like cantaloupe! But I like pictures of piles of round things like this.

Just like on Sesame Street, C is for Cat! Meet Stella, one of our crazy kitties! Stanley has made an appearance before in this blog... it was Stella's turn!

Letter B

B is for Bar - we had a few pre-Eagles Concert drinks at our favorite swanky hotel bar.

B is also for Boy.  As fun as bar, but in a much different way.

B is for Breakfast. This morning it was lovely french bread with homemade strawberry balsamic jam.

Day 2.0 - Letter A

Here we go!

A is for Apartment. Which I can not believe I live in at this age. But don't get me started... Thanks a lot, Army. Oh! A bonus A.

Yes your eyes are not deceiving you, this is an axil. Glad to be back.

A is for alcohol. And for Ah, no, I didn't fill this by myself, I had a little help from my friends.

We're baaaaack!

Six months was long enough to rest our creative muscles! Too long, in fact.

So: watch this space starting Saturday when Carey and I are joined by my friend Tricia for photographic adventures. We'll start by working our way through the alphabet: one photo inspired by one letter, one day at a time.

And then we'll come up with some other assignment when this first portion is done (feel free to make suggestions!)

I'm excited to photograph with a purpose - and with friends!

Cheers,
~Elysia
